“I don’t know if you’d want to, but we are having a special service tonight at church and I wanted to know if you wanted to go with me.” “That is so weird. I was just thinking this morning that I wish I had a church to go to and you called me. I’d be glad to go with you.” This exchange took place in the first part of this year between two high school seniors. The casual invitation led to the teenager finding a church home that cared for her. The same story is possible in your neighborhood.
