What is it that First Church Pasadena wants to communicate to our neighbors? It is this: Discovering Life Together. This one phrase best describes who we are and who desire to be a s a church. Discovering is an active verb - we are doing it now. Life is what we are discovering – the full potential of life individually and corporately according to God’s desire for our lives. Together is how we are discovering life. God created us for community. It was never God’s desire for us to live out our lives by and for ourselves. God is relational and we are created in God’s image. We are relational. Discovering Life Together – that is who are at First United Methodist Church.
