JUST FOR STUDENTS
In response to the youth planning retreat, we have launched a Growth Group just for students. The signup for this term has closed, however, if you are interested in a future group starting Jan 2010, come talk to me.
Growth groups are short term 8 to 10 week committment. Please do not sign up if you do not want to commit to being there every week.
The main purpose is to build Christian friendships, the kind that last for a lifetime and are the glue that holds a church together.
The studies are Bible based. The central part of each meeting is the discussion of the Scripture used in worship the previous Sunday, and participants come having done the “Going Deeper” section of the Sermon Notes published in the Follower each Sunday.
We follow a specific format (a time of fellowship and food, followed by scripture and sermon discussion, and concluding with prayer and spiritual sharing) and help you to grow as a Christian and in Christian community.
