RECOVERY IS IN THE AIR
There is little that Jesus did on the earth more than heal. He taught, he preached and he healed everywhere he went, so any time we are involved in healing activities, we are heading in the right direction.
Our church has steadily grown over the years in its involvement in Recovery Groups. We have a weekly Grief Recovery Group that meets every Sunday in the Parlor at 2:00. Bereaved persons who have had time to recover volunteer to facilitate the group. It has been instrumental in the healing of many people throughout the years.
In addition, we have multiple groups of people recovering from addictions meeting here. As people working one day at a time to be whole and healthy, they find warm welcome and radical hospitality at FUMC as they come to their meetings. Following are the various groups who find within our building a place to meet and become whole.
