Join a Growth GroupGROWTH GROUPS ARE:
Short Term - they usually meet for 8 to 10 weeks at a time. New groups
forming will be 8 weeks, beginning in September 2010.
Fellowship Gatherings - the main purpose is to build Christian friendships,
the kind that last for a lifetime, the kind that are the glue that holds a
church together.
Bible Study Discussions - the central part of each meeting is the
discussion of the Scripture used in worship the previous Sunday,
and participants come having completed the "Going Deeper" section
of the Sermon Notes published in the Follower each Sunday.
The Sermons can also be viewed online in the media section of the
website. Sermon Notes are also available on the media page for
viewing or to download.

GROWTH GROUPS ALSO:
Follow a specific format - that promotes everyone's spiritual nurture -
a time of fellowship and food, followed by Scripture and Sermon
discussion, and concluding with prayer and spiritual sharing.
Are hosted - by someone with extraordinary Christian hospitality -
most likely in their home.
Are Led - by someone who has been trained to lead a group discussion -
not a bible scholar, but a "spiritually warm" individual who can keep
the discussion meaningful.
Will meet again for 8-10 week periods in 2010 - same groups can
sign-up over and over again forever - and we will be creating
new groups as needed.
Are essentially adaptable, flexible and organic - we will learn and
try new ways of meeting that make sense and will work for our church.
