Celebrate through Worship

“I go to church because I need God.” This is a statement often overlooked in churches. We can become so busy in developing programs that we forget the One we are seeking. Begin your spiritual journey as you celebrate in worship. There are different types of worship and different opportunities for worship at First Church Pasadena, but they all have the same goal, to celebrate the presence of God in our midst. Michael Slaughter, wrote in his book, Unlearning Church, “My greatest hunger, the greatest need in my life, is not to be busy; it is to be filled with the presence of God.”
